After lots of testing and poking with a stick we have decided that the ease of use that WordPress offers along with the bazillion plugins, themes and widgets make it a better choice for what we want to use this site for.

So far we have had a boring hurricane season. Today that changed. Meet Fay. Power has been going off and on for hours. The road is flooded. Crazy lightining lighting up the sky.
My wife and I are going to get Grace ready for bed and try to get some sleep. We’re not sure how well this plan is going to work but it has to be better than sitting around waiting for power stop freaking out.
